• By joining the Conservative Party, using the link below, you will automatically become a member of the Orpington Conservative Association  which is the official name for Orpington Conservatives.
• You will also become a member of the branch of Orpington Conservatives which covers the local government ward in which you reside. This means that you will be able to vote to select candidates for election as your councillors representing your ward.
• The Conservative Party is the most open and democratic political party in the UK.
• After the first three months of your membership, you will be entitled to a vote in all Party ballots.
• You will also have a chance to influence Party policy by letting us know your views.
• Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party.
• Applicants are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals.
• There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.
