Cllr Kim Botting

Kim was elected as an Orpington Ward Councillor in 2014 & enjoys representing the ward . Kim has lived in Orpington for 40 years now.

A retired Police Officer of 38 years service, she reached the rank of Chief Inspector .

Kim’s role on the Council is serving on, The Public Safety & Protection Committee. The Education Select Committee . The General Purposes & Licensing Committee. The Council BTTA Town- Twinning Representative .Kim sits on the safer neighbourhood panels of Orpington & Chelsfield . Kim is chairman of Neighbourhood Watch where she lives and is a member of the Green St Green Village Society Committee.

In 2015 Kim received a Public Nomination Certificate in the Partnership Category of the Local Government Achievement Awards.

2015-2016 Kim was the Mayor of Bromley Borough for a year -raising £ 50,000 for her chosen charities Bromley CONNECT & The National Brain Appeal.
Kim is a of the Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Kim is a School Governor for Blenheim Primary School in Orpington.

Kim is married with 4 grown up children & is devoted to family life.

Kim is keen to continue to serve all the residents of Orpington Ward as she has since she was elected.

Cllr William Huntington-Thresher

William has served as one of your Conservative Councillors in Orpington Ward for the past 4 years.

William was born, grew up and went to school in Orpington, where he still lives. As a local resident he has been active in supporting the local High Street shops and the Orpington Business Forum and is proud to have played a part in the current improvements to the High Street.

William is a Governor of Hillside School and has worked closely with his Conservative colleagues to ensure that the improvements Bromley Borough has seen in road safety and recycling have been reflected locally.

William is keen to see through to completion local improvements such as the replacement of flats by family homes on the Ramsden estate.

Cllr Pauline Tunicliffe

Pauline has represented the residents of Orpington Ward since being elected in 2006.

Pauline has lived in Orpington for over 25 years. She has two grown up daughters who were educated locally. She has run her own successful business in haute-couture since 1987. She has always been involved in the local community and was Chairman of the PTA of Green Street Green School. She also ran a theatre company there for several years for children aged five to ten, directing several productions.

Pauline’s first role in the Council was as Executive Assistant to the Portfolio Holder for Public Protection & Safety in 2006 and again 2009. She was appointed the Borough’s Champion Against Domestic Violence in 2006.

In 2007 she had the honour and privilege of serving the Borough as Mayor of Bromley and her chosesn charity was The Bromley Diabetes Support Group.

In 2008 she was Vice Chairman of Renewal & Recreation and became the Chairman in 2009.

In 2010 she became the first Children’s Champion for Bromley.

Pauline has always had an interest in children in care and in 2012 was delighted to be approved as a Foster Carer for the Borough.

In 2014 she became Chairman of Care Services Policy Development Scrutiny Committee and is currently the Vice-Chairman. She also sits on the Development Control Commitee, Health Scutintiy Sub-Committee. She has previously served on the General Purposes & Licensing, Public Protection & Safety, Education and Renewal & Recreation Committees.
