Cllr Benington and Stevens, from Biggin Hill Ward were delighted to be at Biggin Hill Fire Station shortly before Christmas, when White Watch Manager Wayne Trigg was presented with a Commendation from the Fire Brigade Borough Commander. It was presented by Cllr Kate Lymer who is the Public Protection and Safety Portfolio Holder on Bromley Council. The commendation was in relation to Fire prevention safety work, advice and support given by Wayne to an elderly resident living alone. The contact has been continued by Wayne and White Watch to ensure that the man is well and warm, including arranging for two electric heaters to be installed in his living room and bedroom. A great example of how the Emergency Services act to support us all, out of the public eye. Congratulations to Wayne and White Watch from us.
